OK, THIS SUCKS! As at today, 1/4/09, I found out that all my PIMP files stored at mediafire.com was no longer available for you guys to download. So I think the best way before I find another service (or paid service) is for you guys who is interested to have these issues to send me an email at mosh_snail@yahoo.com with title “PIMP REQUEST”
I’m sorry very much and will try my best to restored these files so it will be easier to be download a.s.ap.
This site has suffered a massive hiatus ever since the last post. Almost 2009 now and still no updates. Thanks or no thanks to my own laziness and procastination I guess. Oh and some parts by my continuous conventional business growth and the ongoing problems in my pc where I do all the PIMPing.
And most of it all is because I spend most of my online time at this site, www.kapasitor.net . It’s a cool site, growing with new members each day and having a focus on arts, writings and stuffs.
Oh excuses, excuses…hahaha..
Life will be dull without excuses.
So O.K, reality check here :
No.1 I don’t think anybody is following this site.
No. 2 Reason for No. 1 is because I never wanted to promote it hugely. Like why must I do that? No one will be interested in my ramblings anyway.
No. 3 The world is not gonna end if I stop posting here. haha
This is it. After this last issue, No. 8, as promise (to myself)..it is highly likely that it will be the last issue.
Time flies like the cash in my pockets. Thankfully the cash will come back. And what do you know it’s 2008 already and there’s no new issue release or new post in here. I guess an apology is in order here. Excuses kill a part of one’s self and denying our weaknesses is strengthening the ego we have.
So ‘doing’ is the word of the day. Issue 8 will be out soon. This is a promise to myself. No excuses.
It’s been a while now since PIMP #7. Lately i’ve been very busy with my business and studies. PIMP 08 will most likely be uploaded on 25th December 07. Current progress is about 15%. I really need more stuff from contributors, so please send your stuff to me at mosh_snail@yahoo.com.

This issue is back in full color for your viewing+reading pleasure. I’m not sure whether Issue 008 will be release by next month, but it will be release that is for sure.

Here’s the sixth issue of PIMP. This issue is published in black and white. No I’m not being economical about color or what, but it’s just a theme I’ve chosen to mark the issue that I’ve used or put all my past junk, writings and all into PIMP issues. So the next issue will hopefully feature new stuff by me and lots more contributors. So I can’t be sure if PIMP will be release on a monthly basis from now on. If there’s not enough material or stuff, maybe it could be release as soon as it should. But who knows, maybe it will be release a lot faster…
Right now, I’ve found a site which published a monthly e-zine, PRASASTI, and they have a community of contributors who share their writings and stuff. Cool! I’ve already sign up and send my stuff there at http://kapasitor.net .

“A picture can tell a thousand stories”, true enough. So let the stories be heard. I’m thinking of connecting the two worlds of photography and poetry or writings (I call ’em bubbles of the mind), where bubbles of thought are written to tell a story about the photo. Be it fiction, artistic or whatever you like. This will be a new segment in PIMP issues called Photopoem or Photopoet, I will decide later though. Or you might suggest one yourself. The photo could be the one you shot or anybody’s (make sure you asked their permission and send their particulars, name & url if any, with your submission). Or it could be the other way around, I mean, you could write something first and shot a picture that suits your writings. Hmm..bad idea. Lets stick with the first way, Interpretation Of A Photo.
One more segment I’ve thinking is Lyric Interpretation. I believe that lyrics are great writings and those lyricists are great poets. Yup..I do. Yes there’s lyrics which sucks! But I’m talking about the likes of Loloq, M.Nasir, Ramli Sarip, Dylan,Cobain, Hetfield,Cornell, Bono, Hendrix, Marley..to name a few. Maybe I could contact them (the ones that still alive..duh!), and sort of interview them by email. Hmm..that could be great. Or you can help me with that too? But at the moment, we start by interpret the lyrics ourselves first aight?
I’m also thinking of asking you guys to recite some poetry or maybe sing em, with your musical instruments or shout ’em, read ’em your way ok. It could be your poetry or writing or your friend’s or anybody for the matter. We then compile it and make it available online, in audio or even video like Youtube etc. Or burn it on a cd and make a nice cover and all and we could even sell it or better, give ’em free with each PIMP issue.
Ok guys hope you all could send some ideas. PIMP Volume 005 is in it’s final preparation, I’ve done the cover and stuff. Right now compiling and choosing the bubbles (writings) before the final editing.
